Katherine joined 2324 CHigwell Squadron in 1993 where she enjoyed a wide range of activities from flying to
shooting in which she gained a RAF marksmen; during this time she also represented
the wing in cross country and at hockey. Katherine attended camps manson and stafford ,
which she really enjoyed! Katherine
left the squadron in 1995 to concentrate on her college work and
qualified as a nursery nurse in 1997 and worked in bartholomew hospital
children's oncology unit. She gave birth to her daughter in
1998 becoming a full time mum. She returned to work in 2001 as a
manager of a nursery and left in 2004 to work with adults with mental
health problems before becoming a young parents support worker in
harlow. In 2007 she become a parent for the second time, once again
becoming a full time parent. Katherine rejoined the squadron in 2008 as a Civilian Instructor, taking on the role of Recruiting Officer. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys a wide range of activities including
swimming, camping and more enjoyable, sleeping.
