We parade Monday and Thursday between 19.00 and 21.30hrs.

A lot of cadets get invited down for the first time by a friend, but don't worry about turning up on your own. You're very welcome to come and visit us on any Monday or Thursday parade evening. The squadron's a great place to meet people.
Bring your parents or a friend if you like. Have a look around. Chat to one of the staff and some of the cadets. Get your parents to do a bit of paperwork and then, most importantly, get involved! We want everyone who comes down to get stuck in straight away.
We have recruit intakes several times each year. Initially, you will join the squadron’s Recruit Flight and spend the first four parade nights learning about the squadron and gaining a basic knowledge of 2324 and the activities we do on a parade night.  Best of all, you'll start with a group of people just like you and get to know them all as you train.

After this initial period you will complete your first class training which all members of the Air Training Corps (ATC) complete over the next six to eight months in a series of practical and theory lessons which allows you to go flying, gliding and shooting and other many other activities some of which you can see on this site.

With three months experience on the squadron you will be issued with your uniform (free of charge) and you will be enrolled on to the squadron.

As you progress in the squadron in age and experience more opportunities become available to you.

Come and visit on any Monday or Thursday evening
