Loughton Remembrance Parade 2016



‘Remembrance Day 2016 saw the Squadron parade at its traditional event at Loughton memorial to mark the sacrifices of two world wars and other conflicts since 1945. At Loughton we joined with 241 Woodfood and Wansted Squadron, ex staff and former cadets joined the current 2324 contingent lead by Fg Off Halliday in the commemorative ceremony. All who attended presented themselves to a high standard and has done the squadron and community proud and all were impressed as members of the public who lined the streets clapped. 

In addition to the local parade the televised remembrance parade at the cenotaph in London was also attend by a contingent of air cadets bolstered by 4 of our own. The largest remembrance ceremony in the country was moving for all that attended. ‘
